I propose we take A up on his request:

"No points please."

Let's never give him another point!

I want negative marking brought in!

You guys are just too far ahead.. I think it's cos the Americans have more problems than the Europeans, thus more questions during European nighttime ;)

Later,
Bill

but all the europeans i know are night owls.. ;) well, in any case, that might be a good idea, we simply keep him from getting more points and just post a response to his always insightful and helpful responses with a thank you instead of giving him points. then we know he'll be here for years to come.
(i think i need to learn to touch-type insteadof using the half-breed method i use crossing that and "hunt & peck")

Re: A toast to Clay, I think...

My dear Clay,

Congrats on whatever this point level grants (or doesn't). You and Jim (and Patrick and the others) certainly give us much to look up to.

I wouldn't worry about that green stuff on your head, it's just keeping company with the hay all you country boys always seem to be around. Besides if'n it t'aint collard greens, maybe it'd make a nice garnish fer a good ol southern mint julip. You know...one you could order when HP sends you & JRF to Hawaii.

Your Friend,
Rita

...hope to see ya in LA !

Man! I've been away for some time, and never realized what I've missed. I'll have to do some catching up, I'm sure, (to the tune of 17,350 points.) That's what you get for taking a lame 'non hp-ux' job. Congrats, Clay!!! Keep it up!!

Calm down, A.Clay,

here is a new "winter hat" for you, to skip the "green salad":

and something to drink:

A Guinness a day, and a Guinness for Clay, cheers,

Re: A toast to Clay, I think...

Did I hear someone say "Collards"? Got some grits to go with them greens? Maybe some cornbread (the kind made in an iron skillet)?

No matter what the occasion (or point level), it's a good time to say "Thanks Clay"! You add so much to these forums. Congratulations!

Your are right, Darell - we should sacrifice another "engineer" to honour him ;-)
