Hi,
I set two A3740 fc storage adapters on L2000,hp-ux11.0

the command said 'CLAIM' .
I am sure all drivers and kernel drivers are installed correctly under like that
*list of driver

fcT1_cntl
fcT1
fcp
*list of kernel parameter
num_tachyon_adapters
also, my cards status are
LINK(green) - ON
STATUS(ambor) - ON
without any flashing.
actually,I couldn't find avobe situation in installation document what happening on the card.
what does it mean??
I expect good solution
how can I solve this problem??

Re: A3740 FC card
Patrick,
I do not see clear problem description. If you simply can not find led status description, then I can tell you that one led is power, and another is link (do not remember which one is which). Both should be ON. Link led can flash during activity.
Please remember: this adapter is loop only (no fabric) and will not work with switch unless you'll configure switch's port in quickloop. This adaper is not supported on 11i and above. Successor: A5158A

Re: A3740 FC card
As stated, this card does not support fabric, so your switch port must be set to loop, or you use direct connect. You also don't state what type of disks you are connecting. This may help also in determining the problem.
