I have 2 A9782A Gigabit combo card installed in a standalone hpux 11i rp4440 server and I want to configure it in fault tolerance.
Is it possibile? And what do I need? I need to buy some software?
thank for the time you'll spend for me.
Regards...
PSS

SolutionTake a look at:
http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=J4240AA
You could actually create a script to monitor one LAN interface and in the event of a failure, switch IPs to another card.

Re: A9782A Gigabit teaming
Look at the HP Product called Auto Port Aggregation aka APA.
As listed above.
