about hp-ux question
There are a lot of files in /var/tmp listed as following:
crw------- 1 root sys 203 0x030000 Mar 1 18:29 rdskZXOd25372
crw------- 1 root sys 203 0x082000 Feb 27 19:47 rdskZXPa25372
I wonder what these files are and what use of them? Can I remove these files without doing harm to the system?

Re: about hp-ux question
Hi,
Did you by any chance run STM exercising of your disks? Look at the timestamps of those /dev/rdsk character files. Was STM or other tools/commands being run during that period?
Hope this helps. Regards.
