hello:

I want to know if I can use Fiber optic modules and ethernet/Gigaethernet modules.
I am planning to enter the switch with Fiber optic (from switch or server) and go out to workstation in copper (UTP).

And i have another question..
What category of UTP I can use if I want to run Gigaethenet over it.

Ben,

For copper, you need CAT6.

When you say you plan on using fibre to your switch, you do mean Gig-E, and not fibre channel, correct?
