this moring
i examined the syslog.log file
i found the following messages about mc/sg
:
Oct 27 08:56:23 yjjf2 cmclconfd[4864]: Unable to write /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig
, No space left on device
Oct 27 08:56:23 yjjf2 cmcld: Unable to write updated configuration file $SGCONF/
cmclconfig to disk: I/O error.
what's wrong with my system?
model :9000/800/L3000-7x
os hp-ux B.11.11 U 9000/800 1146454636 unlimited-user license

Hi,
If its not serious, it is going to get serious so better take precautions.
Its seems that the root disk is having some problem.
Can you go through pvdisplay on root disk and see if you have any stale PE.
Probably the root disk has got some stale physical extents, check and replace the disk as soon as possible.
