aCC filling up /tmp


the aCC compiler has started acting strangely lately on our HP-UX 11.00 system. sometimes, when compiling it starts generating files with pxdb* prefix in /tmp which eventually fill up the volume. i don't know if this is related but it actually seems like unsetting environment variables and restarting the compilation helps with the problem. any ideas on why aCC is acting like this?

[PHSS_20122/PACHRDME/English] (s700_800 11.0 cumulative pxdb patch) maybe worth your while installing
