ACC/HDLC interface library on HP-UX 10.20

Hi,

I have to develop an interface to an equipment communicating with HDLC. I am looking for an interface library but I dont find anything. I saw it's possible with ZCOM but only on HP-UX 11. Can anyone give me some advices ?

First, is there any way you can use a current version of HP-UX, or another platform to create this link? HP dropped support for 10.20 in early 2003.

Next, the ZCOM libraries for HDLC did exist for 10.20 but they were nasty and very buggy. However, getting a copy of them may be an impossible task.

I would recommend updating to 11.00 or 11.11 of HP-UX. If that is not possible, perhaps consider a different platform -like Linux?

Hi,

that HDLC interface has to be installed on a HP-UX system owned by our customer and they dont want (no money...) to upgrade it, or to invest in new hardware. If you know how I can get that ZCOM library, it would be very kind, even though it's very buggy...
