acroread tool .not wokring for BI publisher

The Adobe acroread tool is producing a bad Postscript file. As per the a
bove action plan, you need to reinstall it, update it to the latest version

is any one using this tool?

When we are converting any general pdf with the existing version of acroread it is printing without any
problem. But it can't convert the report generated by BI Publisher. We have
Acrobat4 configured in our UNIX environment

works fine with pdf having texts.

#cat WO5902270.pdf | /opt/Acrobat4/bin/acroread -toPostScript -shrink |lp -dABSC_4SE36_HP5

this file is created by BI publisher having the graphics/logo which is getting converted to post script as i can see in the printer's request directory. But not getting printed.Oracle says acroread is creating a bad PS file.

is any one using this tool with BI piblisher? is this a licened s/w unlike SSH.?who supplies this product?
