Re: activation on second npar on intregrity
Do the appropriate steps to make it!
How about posting some more information like the parstatus etc.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: activation on second npar on intregrity
i have two active npars in the server npar0 and npar1
npar 0 is in the server cabinet
npar1 is in the expansion cabinet
question are each of the cabinets capabile of holding 2 npars thus giving me a total of 4 npars per server?

Re: activation on second npar on intregrity
npar 0 is in the server cabinet
npar1 is in the expansion cabinet
No and no no no!
There is only I/O in the expansion box - not a single CPU nor any byte of memory.
The CPUs and memory are in the main cabinet.
Look at this:
cab0,cell0 Active Core 8/0/8 32.0/0.0 cab0,bay0,chassis0 yes yes 0
cab0,cell1 Active Core 8/0/8 32.0/0.0 cab0,bay0,chassis1 yes yes 1
cab0,cell2 Active Base 8/0/8 32.0/0.0 cab8,bay0,chassis0 yes yes 1
cab0,cell3 Active Base 8/0/8 32.0/0.0 cab8,bay0,chassis1 yes yes 0
Each partition has some I/O in the main cabinet, some in the expansion.
Again, where is the problem?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
