adb doesn't see DLKM symbols

Hi,

I have a crash dump caused by a DLKM.
when I run "adb -m vmunix ." in the crash
subdirectory, adb doesn't "see" the dlkm
module, although it appears in the crash
subdir and in the INDEX file. How to I make
adb read the DLKM symbol ?

Thanks

Re: adb doesn't see DLKM symbols

Any particular reason why you want to use adb. Can you use kwdb?

Re: adb doesn't see DLKM symbols

Hi Ury,

Typicall you would need q4 (ver. 1.79 or later) for reading crash files when using DLKMs.

cheers!

Re: adb doesn't see DLKM symbols

q4 functionality is subsumed into kwdb and q4 is being obsoleted.
