Bonjour Yaqub,

This is normal.

Have a look at output of parstatus -C :

Have a look at output of icod_stat :

That means that you must modify your nPar in order to add the cell and its components.

2 ways to do that :

- with SMH. Connect with your browser to http://metrica:2301 , select "Tools" then "View and Manage Complex" in the " nPartition Management " box.

- under shell with command parmodify.

If you are not familiar with nPar, i strongly suggest the use of SMH.

Regards

Eric

Re: Add Cells on the Partition (rp7420/HP-UX 11.23 EoE)

I have no cell hardware to control the commands, but I guess that :

# parmodify -p 0 -a 0/0
# shutdown -R 0

would be the correct steps to follow. You will need to have console access to supervise reboot as "-R" in shutdown means "Shut down the system to a ready-to-reconfigure state and reboot if possible."

Hello Eric,

Thank you very much for your contribution regarding this issue.

Before send you above command, I have execute this command (parmodify -p 0 -a 0:base:y:ri) after execute this command then I will power recycle entire system. Then I got 16 processor & 32 GB memory.

BTW, thank you very much for your cooperation & support. I hope in future you get same effort us.
