Add Exabyte 10e to C110

Greetings all. I'm having a tough time adding a Exabyte 10e tape changer to my little C110. I saw some forum postings about the 'spt' scsi-pass thru driver, and followed those, and the robot still comes up 'unclaimed' (the tape drive itself looks ok). The changer is attached via the C720 built-in interface, and I've made sure that there aren't SCSI ID conflicts. Is there another driver that needs to be set up in my kernel (for example, my big server has the 'schgr' driver loaded for its big jukebox).
