adding network printers to hpux 11.23

I am trying to add (install) network printers and I run into the messages: The HP JetDirect printer software is not installed on your system.
....
ok, what do I need to do to add a network printer?

Go to this URL and download the version for your OS:
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom〈=en&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_pagetype=s-002&h_query=JetDirect

The instructions are included with the download but it's just a standard swinstall.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
