admin lock in an account...!!

Dear All,

This kind of emergency....we had an account created for some emergency processes to be carried out....but now the user is not able to FTP. I did a getprpw...and found that the AdminLock is YES, lockout is 000010...!!

Could anybody explain me does AdminLock mean to me...!!

It means that a passwd -l command has been issued for that account. You can clear it using "modprpw -k login". In an untrusted system, this is the equivalent of replacing the password hash with '*'.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
