Adobe for Unix

It has been requested to install Adobe on a Unix server running 11.0. Has anyone installed Adobe and where can I find the software.

Thanks
I didn't do it. He did!

Eric,

Yes, I've installed Adobe Acrobat at least. You can get it from Adobe:

Re: Adobe for Unix

You must download it (from above link) unpack it and use their installation routine.

Then in X windows or maybe telnet/ssh you need to run the binary one time and accept the license agreement.

After that you will be able to use it in scripts and background processes. Quite flexible.

Re: Adobe for Unix

If you are looking for PDF creation, the ports of the open source GHOSTSCRIPT and ENSCRIPT could be helpful

My best regards
