Advise on MTR
We have just got a new rx4620 and we do not have a tape drive or cable or scsi card.
Will this idea work.
Present a disk to the system from our EVA, do the mtr backup to the disk mount the disk onto a server with a tape drive and then tar the image off?

Re: Advise on MTR
create a ignite server make a ignite backup to the ignite server and install the image. This will only work for identical hardware.
Else reinstall the server and thow in you backup after that.
Basically install you igniteserver and boot install from that server:
Stop the boot process and a (ignite ip x.x.x.x):
boot lan.x.x.x.x install
