After an rlogin is requested the password
Hi all,
there is a problem with MC Service Guard configuration. The rlogin is requested by MC/SG, but after an rlogin form a node to the other node is requested the password.
The /.rhosts file is well configured and inetd.conf har the correct line referring to login process.
I can't proceed without solving this problem.

Re: After an rlogin is requested the password
Try setting your nsswitch.conf to have hosts look at files first, then DNS.
Modify your /etc/hosts file to put the non-qualified hostname before the qualified hostname.
Also run this:
who -Rm >> shortname or FQHN?
Whatever it returns is the name that needs to be used in the .rhosts file
Hope one of these helps.
