Re: Alert 13

Shalom,

That message came up for us regularly on our rp5450 servers. It never led to a system failure. Eventually it went away as we upgrade d firmware and installed regular bi-annual updates. I don't know which actually solved the problem.

Re: Alert 13

hi,

It sounds like you have an L or N class server.

this was fixed with firmware updates so check you PDC firmware level. Its also worth updating the firmware on the GSP aswell.

Re: Alert 13

hi,

just double check my notes and its a gsp firmware update thats needed.

example from patch details

Another possible chassis code "footprint" would be this
Alert Level 13 Error:
************************************************************
Log Entry # 5 :
SYSTEM NAME: HP000001
DATE: 12/15/2002 TIME: 06:06:48
ALERT LEVEL: 13 = System hang detected via timer popping

sorry for getting it the wrong way round

Andy
