alloc_pdc_pages when rebooting

Hello,
Whenever I reboot our N4000 server with hpux 11.00, i see on the console a "alloc_pdc_pages: relocating xxx to xxxx" message. This phase takes several minutes to finish. What's the meaning of this message? Is it a normal phase or the consequence of an error? Can I avoid this extra boot time?

This is a normal part of the operation, and can't be bypassed. It takes approximately 3 minutes to complete.
