alternate path dump device

Hi,

I can reach my disks by an alternate path.
but when i use lvlnboot -v i can't see the alternate path for dump. Boot, Root, Swap is OK. Who can helps.

Thats completely normal, don't worry about it. There's no concept of mirroring or alternate paths with the dump volume because a crash dump is such a low level operation performed when something goes seriously wrong with the system, ie a panic.

Steven is correct and lvlnboot -v does not show the alt path.

Boot Definitions for Volume Group /dev/vg00:
Physical Volumes belonging in Root Volume Group:
/dev/dsk/c1t6d0 (0/0/2/0.6.0) -- Boot Disk
/dev/dsk/c2t6d0 (0/0/2/1.6.0) -- Boot Disk
Boot: lvol1 on: /dev/dsk/c1t6d0
/dev/dsk/c2t6d0
Root: lvol3 on: /dev/dsk/c1t6d0
/dev/dsk/c2t6d0
Swap: lvol2 on: /dev/dsk/c1t6d0
/dev/dsk/c2t6d0
Dump: lvol2 on: /dev/dsk/c1t6d0, 0


ioscan -fnC disk will show paths to your disks.
