Annoucing HP-UX Select Access for IdMI
This message is to announce the availability of the new "Select Access for IdMI" feature of HP-UX.
On August 31, 2006, the Enterprise Unix Division released "Select Access for IdMI", or SA-IdMI for short. SA-IdMI is a no-fee licensable version of HP OpenView Select Access version 6.1 that can be used in conjunction with the HP-UX Identity Management Integration product. This product helps further integrate HP-UX security management into identity management infrastructures, addressing today's regulation and compliance requirements.
SA-IdMI includes all the policy administration and validation components of Select Access, but is licensable only for use with the Identity Management Integration product on HP-UX . To use Select Access for enforcement of web and other services, SA-IdMI can be easly upgraded to the full version of HP OpenView Select Access version 6.1.
SA-IdMI is available for HP-UX 11i v2 update 2, for both the Integrity and HP 9000 platforms. Support for SA-IdMI is included with the HP-UX support agreement.
