Annoying EMS Messages about UPS
We have recently installed a D-Class server (Running 10.20 with Sept. 2000 App/Support+ Media) with a new PowerTrust II UPS.
Since the install EMS is creating the attached notification. The EMS WEB site does not provide any useful information about event 42.
Any ideas appreciated.

Re: Annoying EMS Messages about UPS
Hi David,
I'd go and have a look at
/var/stm/config/tools/monitor/default_dm_ups.clcfg if there is sth to deconfigure/switch off.
I did setup a IGNORE event to get rid of disk messages by doing
1. cd /var/stm/config/tools/monitor
2. cp disk_em.cfg disk_em.cfg.orig
3. vi disk_em.cfg
Add the following line at the end of the file :
DEFINE_EVENT 100876 CRITICAL IGNORE # msg num 127
HTH
