Another Autofs question
I just converted my hard mounted NFS drives to using autofs. Between my Unix box's no problem. I am having the following problems with a NT 4.0 system using the following nfs daemon
SSC DiskShare NFS Server
Version 04.01.00.11
When I restart the nfs.client on the HP system. I then change to the directory for the mount and I have to control C out of it and when I do, I get the following error msg.
cancun:/usr/ud/JOB.PLANNING: ls -ld sale*
dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 2 Jan 31 10:49 sale.val.blastfiles
drwxrwxrwx 2 root sys 1024 Nov 19 2001 sale.val.data
cancun:/usr/ud/JOB.PLANNING: cd sale.val.blastfiles # At this point I do a CNTL C
sh: sale.val.blastfiles: The specified directory is not valid.
cancun:/usr/ud/JOB.PLANNING: Jan 31 10:50:31 cancun automountd[816]: server lisbon not responding
Server lisbon is responding with a ping
cancun:/usr/ud/JOB.PLANNING: ping lisbon
PING lisbon.bcharrispub.com: 64 byte packets
64 bytes from 10.22.99.9: icmp_seq=0. time=3. ms
64 bytes from 10.22.99.9: icmp_seq=1. time=3. ms
And the hard mounted NFS is working on my production HP system 11.00, development system is 11.00
We have stopped and restarted the NFS daemon on the NT system
