Have you found some doc or man page about getkinfo (/usr/sam/lbin/getkinfo) ?

Hi,

I can't find a thing on it at docs.hp.com & SAM help screens are a non-help.
what just gives versioning info.
file shows it to be a PA-RISC 1.1 binary
What are wanting to know specifically?

Can't find much either...

Usage: getkinfo [-b] [-f kernel_file] [-o dump_file]


Examples:
usr/sam/lbin/getkinfo -f /stand/vmunix -o
/tmp/kernel.data


Problem Viewing Kernel Paramters w/ SAM:
1. Edit /opt/sna/conf/master.d/sna file and remove the line with

"sixt gio", save and exit.

2. Run "getkinfo -b" to fix problem, "/usr/sam/lbin/getkinfo -b"

Then run SAM.
