anyone still using hpvc ( Visualize conferenc)

I get a error "Failed to listen for incoming calls on TCP connections. Please check your network configuration" when i launch hpvc on HPUX 11.00 or hpux 11.11

i hv checked netconf, hosts, nsswitch.conf and dont seem to have any issue with it. Any idea what is wrong,

I can never get to that stage where i can see the preferences, this error message is soon after the launch of hpvc.

I went through the trace file and this is what i found.

11:59:04.50*7297**CCMEventProc*3285*CMP_ERROR_INDICATION (45) - pass through
11:59:04.51*7297**CCEventProc *4533*CCM_ERROR_INDICATION with error 45
11:59:04.51*7297**CCEventProc *4542*Due to MCS listen failure


but not sure what is causing this issues

According to /usr/include/sys/errno.h error 45 means "A deadlock would occur".

I'm sorry to say I can shed no light on this error message. Perhaps someone else can.

I am totally struck!, can HP response centre answer this ? any solution to this hpvc issue ?

got the solution at last, it was becasue of another application using the same port at HPVC ( 1503).
