Apache -based Webserver / enabling mod_perl

Hi,

if I try to enable mod_perl as described in the Admin Guide for HP Apache-based Web Server the Apache Server doesn't start (it hangs).
I have
Apache 2.0.43
HPUX 11.11

thanks
Klaus

Hi,

Why don't you try to download the source from apache.org and try a manual installation ?

Sorry I never faced such a problem , hence I am giving you an option.

Re: Apache -based Webserver / enabling mod_perl

Its enabled be default i thought?

If someone has messed with the configuration, try comparing the current httpd.conf with the original.

Or you could get and install the latest apache from http://software.hp.com and compare that way. It won't overwrite.
