Re: Apache pkg

first place to start reading is at:
http://docs.hp.cpm/hpux/ha

read the Managing MC/ServieGuard manuals, as they have pointers on things to consider when packaging an application.

Re: Apache pkg

Oh come on... That's like telling someone who asks for a phone number to look in the phone book. Service Guard is ridiculously cryptic and HP's fabulous box of useless pdf files isn't going to help very much. For instance, why is there a "Serviceguard for Linux Apache Toolkit" but no such toolkit for HPUX? Does anyone have anything useful to solve this problem? Like a 12 step text file, a sample control.sh or an amusing anecdote about having to ask their boss for more money every ten seconds?

If you want to get your Apache process monitored, you may install:
Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit B.02.00

which is shipped in the Dec'03 applications CD
