Application Software installation and codewords
Hi!
I have a couple of sets of Application sofware CDs (HP-UX 11.0). I have used one of them to install applications on one of our servers and I have the codewords for them. Is the codeword host related? Can this set of CDs and codewords be used to install on another identical server K-Class?

Re: Application Software installation and codewords
Legally - no, I don't think so - you purchase a license for a specific machine. In practice, however, it would probably work.

Re: Application Software installation and codewords
The licenses keys are generated from a combination of the HP order number and the CD-Part number.
Are they legal, well the answer is no unless you have a valid license for any subsequent system, you can use the same CD set. When you install on a second or third system all that is required is the usage of same codeword.
