Applying 11i & 11 Hardware & Software enablement patches

Applying 11i & 11 Hardware & Software enablement patches

Hi I have alway applied the software and Hardware enablement one at a time. Can I apply them both at the sametime in a depot, or must it be one set of patches then reboot and then the other?

You can definitely gather them together into a depot (with swcopy) and then install together - just one reboot.

Hi

If you can take to time to combine both depots into one go ahead and do it, this will save you the 2nd reboot.

I traditionally do not do that, (corporate political reasons)so typically we do bundles in this order

1) HWCRitical Patches
2) QPK1100 or QPK1111
3) DIAGNOSTICS - (no reboot required)
