Aruba AP 615 - Upgrade without conductor
I have one Aruba 615 AP. When I open it in the GUI, it only shows in provisioning mode. The customer needs to configure that AP as an instant mode (Standalone device). In the CLI, I am also unable to configure it. Please share the steps to upgrade the AP without using the conductor. I need to set the AP 615 in standalone mode. Is it possible?

Re: Aruba AP 615 - Upgrade without conductor
Hello!
Yes, you can configure the Aruba 615 AP in standalone (Instant) mode without a conductor. Since your AP is in provisioning mode, you'll need to manually upgrade its firmware using a TFTP server. First, download the correct Instant firmware from the Aruba support portal. Then, connect to the AP via its console port, boot into APBoot mode, and use the CLI to set a static IP address and initiate the upgrade command, pointing to the firmware file on your TFTP server. After the upgrade and reboot, the AP will broadcast a temporary Wi-Fi network that you can connect to and use the web GUI to complete the initial configuration as a standalone device.
