Asking for new output file when running fbackup
Just installed StorageWorks DLT VS160 on rp3410. Was able to (and still able to) run 'ignite-ux' with no problem but, when tried to run 'fbackup' the error msg appeared to provide new output file.
Tried with SAM with same result.
Currently running HP-UX 11.11 with most updated patches on the server.
Need help, please.

Re: Asking for new output file when running fbackup
Hi Jerry:
You should have PHKL_33425 installed. Without it density may not be correctly set.
Regards!

Re: Asking for new output file when running fbackup
Hi (again) Jerry:
Technical Knowledge Base document #lpg50167 also notes that for optimal performance you should increase the 'blocksperrecord' parameter from 16 to at least 32, and optimally to 64 in the 'fbackup' configuration file. See the manpages for 'fbackup' for more information.
Regards!

Re: Asking for new output file when running fbackup
Thank you, James.
That did the job. I just wasn't sure whether that's all I had to do.
Thanks again and have a great day!
