I am working with HP-UX 11.11 on a rp4440.

Re: Assigning a doman name to rp4440
a DNS is consulted before trying any other host name resolution method.

Re: Assigning a doman name to rp4440
/etc/hosts should always contain the host's own name(s), in both short and fully-qualified forms.
The standard way would be to put the fully-qualified name first.

Also, I made sure I created a resolv.conf file with the nameserver = to IP
Then I was ablt to execute my OAS.
Thanks Alot!
