asyncdsk device driver config
I need to configure the asyncdsk driver on HPuX 11.00.
How do i addthe parameter to the kernel if it doesnt exist ? What is the procedure to do this

Also, are you using Online JFS (the optional, extra cost file system) or the standard VxFS that comes with HP-UX?

/usr/lbin/sysadm/system_prep -s /stand/build/system
vi /stand/build/system
go to driver section
insert 'asyncdsk' and save
mk_kernel -s /stand/build/system
kmupdate
cp /stand/system /stand/system_old
cp /stand/build/system /stand/system
cd /
shutdown -r now
vi /stand/build/system
go to driver section
insert 'asyncdsk' and save
mk_kernel -s /stand/build/system
kmupdate
cp /stand/system /stand/system_old
cp /stand/build/system /stand/system
cd /
shutdown -r now
