ATM nettl events - What do they mean?
I am working on several systems (still on 10.20 becuase of application problems). ALl of these systems have ATM cards configured through HATMMON as redundant circuites.
Most of these are connected to the same ATM switch. One host seems to log the messages below consistantly when it boots but does not seem to have any operational problems. What are the messages trying to indicate??

Re: ATM nettl events - What do they mean?
Hi,
These errors are generic configuration failure messages. However what they indicate is a timing issue on boot up between the Switch and the card. Check the revisions of your ATM Software/Patch. The lastest patch for 10.20 is s700_800/10.X/PHNE_25501 which has addressed several timing issues on boot up communication to the LECS/LES. There are also some known issues w/ certain vendors switches, check the firmware level on the switches your using and check for updatses.
Hope that helps,
Todd
