audio cd not recogised on hpux 11i w/s

how do i listen to audio CD on HP-UX 11i (c3700) m/c inspite having a DVD drive. Also it gives an error " unrecognized file system" while mounting the CD.

I did it last week - no problems.

FYI - you don't have to mount an audio cd.

I tried loading the XMCD.
It is able to rocgnise the cd in cd-rom, it is showing me the tracks also. But when i press play/pause button .... there is no action except a error bip from the machine.

Is something to be modified in the config file?
Pl. help me ....

do you have set your AudioClient for the internal speaker?
I've a German environment, so it's a little bit difficult to explain:
AudioClients you can find in your (I hope it's so called) application manager - the icon is in the botton window of CDE.
There's one icon für sound. You have to set the output to speaker.
