Audio in RX4640 - Factory integraiion only (HP-UX)

Hi

I have the RX4640 server with HP-UX that doesn't have a sound card, and I wanted to try some applications that will allow me to play music. In this case, I found some websites with the HP PCI Audio Card (AD317A), but I see information: Factory Integration Only.

What does it mean?

Hi,

Yes, it shows " Factory integration" for both rx4640 and rx2660 server which means, should be purchased and pre-configured from Factory before delivered to customer.

I could see they are listed under "Hpux" Supported IO cards, but i couldnt find a separate hpux driver for it (not sure if driver comes with Base OS).

So this card works for the system (if driver is available), but should come as pre-configured from factory and only those cards/servers will be officially supported.

I think I have to order It and see if it works with my server. I guess I will be the first user who is going to try it.
