Automated ID's - passwd aging- Trusted Systems
We have some automated id's for monitoring purposes which will login to hp-ux systems and change the passwd every thirty days. But when they do so on a trusted system it gives them options (like g, l or p). I want to supress this option for these logins so that they could change it. Could someone tell me how to supress these options? Thanks in advance.
Thanks
Joe

The fastest method it to go into SAM and edit these accounts to only have "user picks" iption.
It can be done via command line with modprpw
usrpick, syspnpw flags.

Hi joe, the command is "sam"
and the menu is "Auditing and Security -> System Security Policies -> Password Format Policies"
