Automount slow
Hi
I have NIS client configured with automount.The home directory is getting mounted from a NAS box.But while logging, the client is taking some time to come to prompt.

Helloo,
Something I can think of:
1.Lot of NFS/Automounter bugs are fixed through patches.. I would suggest you first verify the patches installed on this box.
2. Check for any address resolution issues. A delay in resolving the NAS box address from the client will also result in same behaviour.
