automountd: autofs_prog: duplicate request ignored

Hi,

One of our HP-UX 11iv1 servers had the following message logged repeatedly in the syslog.log file and all autofs mounted file systems hung.

"cttasd02 automountd[3351]: autofs_prog: duplicate request ignored"

Has anyone on the forum experienced this issue or has a clue what would have caused this to happen?

I had to reboot the server to fix the issue. Everything is working fine now.
