backup of ignite server
Hi Admins,
B.11.23
My ignite server has no tape drive connected.
How ignite backup for the same be taken.
Please tell me whether below steps are feasible or not
1.configure a client as server
2.Add the entries in new server
3.initiate the backup the backup.

Hi..
I have tried to run /opt/ignite/bin/ignite command on client..but failed.Please check the error attached.

Do you need to backup the ignite server ,& then want to put the archive else where ??
I thing you may try make_net_recovery & of the server & store it some where else or locally.

you may install ignite on nay machine just to behave as a ignite server & store the recovery image there , you need to add & configure clients when you need to boots up.
make_net_recovery -s server -a server:/archive_dir -A -v
make_net_recovery -s server -a server:/archive_dir -A -v
