Backup the system image for a server in DMZ

hello,
I've a server located in a DMZ. It's not able to reach the ignite server's network. Is there any procedure in order to do an image on file system [and after transported via ftp] and burned on a dvd?

How about backup to tape?

Unfortunately no tape. It is a server Blade-860 with Virtual Connect.
