'bad passwd' error message in NIS log file
On occassion a NIS user tries to change their password (via passwd) and after confirming the old password and typing in a valid new password (and confirming) they recieve an error that the password cannot be changed. The log file we have set up for yppasswd on the NIS master contains the following error
'bad passwd'. Ususally if the user retries later, all works fine. What could be causing this?
