Barcode Fonts in HP-UX (11.11) for Oracle Reports

Anyone can help me regarding identifying , installation Barcode fonts which can be used in HP-UX 11i box for Oracle reports ?

Hello Deepu,

In what printer are you tryng to print the barcodes?.

The barcodes are resident in the printer, and you have to use the correct option in the lp command, or use the escape sequences to print baracodes if you have no driver for your printer.

I am using HPLJ2300 printer. Pls state the 'lp' options while printing barcodes and escape seq in unix.

You are going to need a printer upgrade. You need something called a JetCAPS BarDIMM and one is available for the LJ2300. Do a google search on "jetcaps" and you should find several sources. Another option is to use a software package, one such package (though it's overkill for this) is called UnForm (www.unform.com).
