bdf not working

bdf not working

The system rebooted and autopatched this morning and now
the bdf cmd. will not work. the system is up but, I cannot
determine the how much space is available in each filesystem. bdf come right back to the prompt
Excuses are tools of the incompetent.

Check to make sure /etc/fstab still has it's information. Also look in /etc/mnttab, this should show all of the currently mounted file systems. IF /etc/fstab looks good try running mount -a this will tell you if file systems are already mounted and mount those which are not. Then try "bdf" again.

What do you mean the system rebooted and THEN autopatched??

What got patched and with what??

OS release is ??

Does

df -k

work ??

You haven't booted into single-user mode have you?

As Harry has suggested, what has been patched. Support Plus patch bundle, single patch, a depot you made yourself?
Anyone for a Mutiny ?
