Previously we used Apache to talk to Tomcat via MOD_JK2. We tried initially to compile this for our environment without success. Eventually we found a download for Apache from the HP site with MOD_JK2 already compiled in.
It may be that they already have a binary image compiled for WebLogic 8.1, if so could they provide a link for us or could they possibly state what help they could give us regarding this. We have seen other requests on various forums for the same thing so we are not alone.

Re: binary compilation of Apache 2 with the WebLogic 8.1 plugin
You can download the source from www.apache.org and compile it with Weblogic 8.1 plugin.
Have you tried that too ?

Re: binary compilation of Apache 2 with the WebLogic 8.1 plugin
Are you trying something funny, or would just providing the module work for you? The module came in the weblogic install.
Hope it helps
