Bind 9.2 on HPUX 11.00

Bind 9.2 on HPUX 11.00

Has anyone got bind 9.2 to work on HPUX 11.00. I am having problems getting it to resolve forward lookups from original 8.1.2 db files. It resolve reverse lookups fine.

If you need bind 9.2 on a HP-UX version you will not find it on 11.0 , the only way of getting a supported 9.2 version of bind would be to run a HP-UX 11.i version as it is delivered with version 8.1.2 installed , you should be able to find binaries for a 9.2 version of bind on software.hp.com website for 11.11 (11.i), so on a standard 11.0 it is needed to use a 'unsupported' external bind version for the time being if you really need it (unofficially I have heard bind 9.2 will be getting ported to 11.0 but no official date exists yet)
