BIND forwarders
Hi all,
I'm trying to setup bind and have some problems. It's a rather old server, running 11.00 and a bind 4 server. I'd prefer not to have to migrate bind.
. My server is in a network a.x.x.x
. It must resolve for all machines in a. domain
. It must also give answers for two other networks b.x.x.x and c.x.x.x
To do that I configured my db. files for local resolution and used forwarders to get answers for b. and c. networks (each one has its own DNS, respectively b.1.1.1 and c.1.1.1).
if I put this line :
forwarders b.1.1.1 c.1.1.1
I can resolve my local a.x.x.x machines, the b.x.x.x network, but not the c. one.
if I put this line :
forwarders c.1.1.1 b.1.1.1
I can resolve my local a.x.x.x machines, the c.x.x.x network, but not the b. one.
Is there something I do wrong ? How to solve this ?
Thanks in advance,
Fred
