Hi,
I have mirrored the system disk on my rx2620 and within EFI I have created a new boot configuration pointing at the mirror. The system boots fine when both disks are in place. AS a test I removed the original boot disk. When booting I now get the error "Panic : LVM : Configuration Failure". If I then put the original boot disk back it boots!
It looks like there is come LVM config that is reliant on the original boot disk.
Here is the output from lvlnboot -v
Boot Definitions for Volume Group /dev/vg00:
Physical Volumes belonging in Root Volume Group:
/dev/dsk/c3t2d0s2 (0/1/1/1.2.0) -- Boot Disk
/dev/dsk/c2t1d0s2 (0/1/1/0.1.0) -- Boot Disk
Boot: lvol1 on: /dev/dsk/c3t2d0s2
/dev/dsk/c2t1d0s2
Root: lvol3 on: /dev/dsk/c3t2d0s2
/dev/dsk/c2t1d0s2
Swap: lvol2 on: /dev/dsk/c3t2d0s2
/dev/dsk/c2t1d0s2
Dump: lvol2 on: /dev/dsk/c3t2d0s2, 0
Any ideas?

Re: Boot disk mirroring "Panic : LVM : Configuration Failure"
The boot string was wrong.
Adding -lq solved the problem.
Many thanks to RAC.
