Boot Failed

when i boot my workstation this message was appear.

Boot/
:disc (8/12.6.0;0)stand/vmunix
3573492+319488+315968.

How to resolve this problems

it not seems to be an error message.

it informs you on what disc you are booted from.

hello friend.

This sounds like a disc problem to me, try booting of the alternate disk if you have one.

Have you tryed booting into single user mode, if you can do it check your /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file and post your findingd here

another possibility is that your /stand/vmunix file is corrupted there should be a file /stand/vmunix.prev, you could try to boot of that, be warned that vmunix.prev is your prior vmunix file (kernel).

These is the hw-path to the boot disk, the current kernel and the file system entries -

where is the problem?
